No. 2 Huskies Crush Texas Southern 113-49
 
Rudy Gay scored a game high 22 points and Denham Brown became only the 39th player in school history to register 1,000 career points to lead the Huskies to an easy win over Texas Southern on friday night. Rashad Anderson also scored 20 points and Junior forward Josh Boone scored 17 and had 12 rebounds. Uconn is now 6-0 while Texas Southern is now 1-5.

Huskies defeat Army , 68 - 54
 
Rudy Gay and Rashad Anderson lead the way as the third ranked Huskies defeated Army , 68 - 54. Gay notched his third career double-double and finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Rashad Anderson also finished with 14 points and shot three-of-five from three-point range. Uconn's Denham Brown hit a hook shot with 1.1 seconds remaining in the game to give Uconn a 65-63 victory over gonzaga and take home the maui title. Rashad Anderson had 14 points and Freshman Jeff Adrien scored 11. Uconn is now 4-0 and gonzaga is now 3-1
